Swan's Lament

Swan’s Lament continues the story begun in Fading Grace, both inspired by the famous ballet solo The Dying Swan created for Anna Pavlova in 1905.

Here the movement becomes more dramatic. The dancer stretches outward in one last expressive gesture, as if resisting the inevitable stillness.

Together, the two works echo the emotional arc of Pavlova’s unforgettable performance.
